Wonderful post John A.. I grew up "working class", not sure that applies today, but perhaps I am jaded. I do remember mowing lawns, washing dishes, raking leaves and more. All my friends did the same. I have often chosen "hard" jobs and projects, because the feeling of accomplishment was a bonus. I wonder if I have done the same for my "over-privileged" kids...
